Who I am

I am a medical and scientific illustrator. I live and work in Bydgoszcz, Poland, but I cooperate with clients from all Europe. I am specializing in creating illustrations and visuals in the fields of human anatomy, surgical procedures and biology. My works have appeard in many textbooks, scientific brochures, posters and human anatomy atlases. I work mostly for pharmaceutical companies, publishing houses and patient educational institutes.

I am a biologist, too. Through my drawings I help my clients to visualize their scientific concepts. Over the last 10 years I have developed my own style of drawing with an outstanding attention to detail. I believe every illustration can be a work of art. Even if it's a hemorrhoids image. Really.

Besides illustrating body parts I conduct workshops in computer graphics, which included the basic concepts of design and typography, composition and prepress and tips and tricks on Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

I love my work because I can combine scientific knowledge with passion for drawing. I spend hours in my studio in Poland, where (besides creating anatomical illustrations) I also work on my graphic novel and... build wooden models of yachts.

What I can do for you

Whether you are looking for illustrations for one chapter or an entire book or if your scientific concept requires visualization for better understanding, I can help you. I can prepare illustrations for presentation or a textbook so they can tell your story in a simple, understandable and also beautiful way.

What I create besides medical and scientific illustrations

In addition to making scientific illustration, I design other things as well, i.e.:

  • concepts of scenes and characters, both for games and advertising
  • comics and storyboards
  • websites
  • advertising graphics
  • frame by frame animations

In designing I love simplicity. I think less is more.
